SUPPORTERS TRUSTS’ GATHERING IN STIRLING: SUNDAY 17 NOVEMBER

By | November 15, 2002

Looking forward to next Sunday’s gathering for the very first time of representatives from Scottish club football Supporters’ Trusts, Stirling Albion’s Supporters’ Trust Chair, Dick King, complimented Supporters Direct (Scotland) in taking the initiative in organising the event.

“Supporters Direct must take the credit for bringing together for the first time representatives from 15 Supporters’ Trusts. The event will facilitate the sharing of ideas and experience” he said.

“As the most recently-formed Trust, we can learn from other Trusts, as to how they have tackled and overcome the problems which currently confront us at Stirling Albion.

“But despite being the “new kids on the block” the Stirling Albion Supporters’ Trust has ideas of its own which we can share with the other Trusts. Altogether, it should be a very worthwhile event for all concerned”.
