Campaign Update

  • Campaign extension to be recommended to Trust members
  • Trust members to be asked to approve fundamental change in condition for use of subs
  • Annual General Meeting to be held before end of May
  • New combined interactive website to be unveiled
  • "Spot the Ball" competition to be launched

A well-attended Campaign Group meeting was held earlier this week to take stock of the current situation having regard to the ongoing inability of Stirling Albion Chairman, Peter McKenzie, to sell the club at a fair value to interested buyers, which included the Trust and Dr Mackay.

No other potential buyers have since shown themselves, despite a number of rumours to the contrary, and it is very evident that currently Buy Stirling Albion is the only "player in town" - a fact which Mr McKenzie will be aware of should he choose to treat with us.
